ZIARATE

Day of Ghadeer

When the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, completed his farewell pilgrimage and returned to Medina with the Muslims, he arrived at the place known as Ghadir Khumm. At that time, it was not a suitable place for camping due to the lack of water and pasture there. So he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, descended and the Muslims descended with him. The reason for his descent, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, in this place was the revelation of the Qur’an to him, appointing the Commander of the Faithful, Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him), as a caliph in the nation after him.

The revelation was given to him about that without timing, but he postponed it to come to a time when it was safe for them to disagree with him and learn. God Almighty said that if he passed Ghadir Khumm, many people separated from him to their countries, places, and valleys, so God Almighty wanted to gather them to hear the text of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him), in confirmation of the argument against them in it, so His Majesty revealed to him {O Messenger, convey what was revealed to you} This means in the succession of Ali bin Abi Talib, the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), and the stipulation of the imamate upon him. {And if you do not do so, then you have not conveyed His message, and God will protect you from the people. Indeed, God does not guide the disbelieving people.} So he confirmed by it the obligation upon him to do so and his fear of delaying the matter in it, and he guaranteed his infallibility and prevented the people from doing so.

It was a very sweltering day, so he (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) ordered the rainforests there, and what was underneath them, and he ordered the group to be gathered in that place and placed one on top of the other. Then he ordered his herald, and he called on the people to pray, and they gathered from their camp to him, and most of them to wrap his robe around his feet because of the intense rain, so when they gathered, he went up. (May God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) on that journey until he reached its peak.

He called the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) and rose until he was on his right. Then he addressed the people and said (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family): (Indeed, I have been called and I am about to answer, and fear has come from among you.) And I will leave behind among you, as long as you hold fast to it, you will never go astray: the Book of God and my family, my family, and they will not separate until they return to me at the Fountain.” Then he called out at the top of his voice, “Am I not more worthy of you than yourselves?” They said: “Oh God, yes.” So he stood up for them and took hold of the two fingers of the Commander of the Faithful. (peace be upon him) So he raised them until the whites of their armpits were visible and said (Whoever I am his master, then Ali is his master, O God, support whoever befriends him, antagonize whoever opposes him, support whoever supports him, and abandon whoever abandons him).

Then he (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) descended, and it was noon, so he prayed two rak’ahs, then the sun went down, and his muezzin called for the obligatory prayer. He led them in the noon prayer and sat (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) in his tent. He ordered Ali to sit in his tent next to him, then he ordered the people to enter upon him, one after another, and congratulate him on his position and greet him with the command of the believers. So the people all did that. Then he ordered his wives and all the believing women with him to enter upon him and greet him. By the command of the believers, they did so. Omar ibn al-Khattab was one of those who often congratulated him on his status, so he expressed his pleasure in him and said in what he said:!! Thank you, thank you, Ali. You have become my master and the master of every believer, male and female!!) And

Hassan came to the Messenger of God (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) and said to him: O Messenger of God, give me permission to say in this situation what pleases God? So he said, (Say, O Hassan, in the name of God.)

He stood on a protrusion of the ground, and the Muslims rushed to hear his words, so he appeared and said: On the Day of Ghadir, their Prophet will call them with Kham, and hear the Messenger calling Gabriel came to him about the command of his Lord: “You are infallible, so do not be discouraged.” and convey to them what God, their Lord, has revealed to you, and do not fear the enemies there. So he did it at that time, raising his palm with his palm, making his voice loud. He said: Who is your master and prophet? They said, but they did not appear blind Your God is our Master and you are our Prophet and you did not find any disobedient among us in your guardianship. He said to him: Get up, Ali, for I have accepted you as an Imam and a guide after me. So whoever you are his master, then this is his guardian. So be his sincere and loyal followers. There he prayed, O God, and be hostile to him and his guardian. The Messenger of God (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) said to him: “You will continue to support us with the Holy Spirit as long as you support us with your tongue.”

Before they dispersed from the place, Gabriel descended upon the Messenger of God (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) with the Almighty saying: (Today I have perfected for you your religion and completed My blessings upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion) (45) Al-Ma’idah. The Prophet (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) shouted: “God is great for the completion of the religion, the completion of the blessing, the Lord’s satisfaction with my message, and the guardianship of Ali bin Abi Talib after me.” The Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him): The Commander of the Faithful (may God bless him and his family) argued with him about this great incident in front of all the people during the time of his caliphate several times - as historians mentioned - including what was narrated on the authority of Zaid bin Arqam, who said: He appealed to the people in the mosque and said: God called for a man who heard the Prophet (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family): Whoever I am his master, then Ali is his master, O God, who supports whoever supports him and antagonizes whoever antagonizes him. So twelve people stood up early, six from the right side and six from the left side, and they bore witness to that. Zaid bin Al-Arqam said: I was among those who heard it, so I concealed it. So God took away my sight and he was regretting what he had missed in witnessing and asking forgiveness for that as well.

What was narrated on the authority of Tahla bin Amira, who said: Ali (peace be upon him) appealed to the people regarding the saying of the Prophet (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family): “Whoever I am his master, then Ali is his master.” Twelve Ansar and Anas bin Malik testified among a people who did not testify, so the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) said to him: O Anas, he said: At your command, he said: What prevents you from bearing witness when you heard what they heard?) He said, O Commander of the Faithful: I grew old and forgot. Then the Commander of the Faithful said, “O God, if he is a liar, then God will strike you with a whiteness that cannot be hidden by the turban. He did not get up until his face turned white with leprosy.” Tahlah bin Amira said: So bear witness by God that I saw it white between his eyes.

Quran and day of Ghadeer

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

God Almighty said: “This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as your religion.” (Surat Al-Ma’idah: 3). For centuries, Muslim scholars have written about the interpretation of the verse “Ikmal al-Din,” the author of this verse (peace be upon him), and the events of that day. Today.. The verse begins with the word “today” mixed with the letter alif and lam, to indicate the importance and greatness of that day. What is the secret of that day? That day when Abu Hurairah narrated on the authority of the Messenger of God (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) that his fasting was equivalent to God’s worship for sixty years!

The day.. in which the Prophet (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) said to the Muslims: “Am I not more worthy of the believers than they are of themselves?” They said: Yes. He said: Whoever I am his master, then Ali is his master. Omar bin Al-Khattab got up and said: Well done to you, Abu Al-Hassan. You have become my master and the master of every Muslim man and woman. (Al-Nihayah by Ibn Kathir: 7/386).

The importance of that day is as important as its owner, its owner, about whom Al-Khalil ibn Ahmad was asked, and he said: (What should I say about a man whose virtues were hidden by his enemies out of envy, and whose lovers hid them out of fear, and who appeared from among those and those who filled the faint of heart!). In which Ahmad ibn Hanbal said: (None of the Companions had the same virtues as Ali ibn Abi Talib)!

What happened that day? It happened first, that God perfected our religion for us. Secondly, He completed His blessing upon us. And thirdly, he approved Islam as our religion! What is the meaning of completion, fulfillment and satisfaction? These Quranic concepts are major issues that explain the meaning of the divine religion and the history of its revelation. There is a lot of research on them, and it may take a year to discuss them, but we will only talk about them in brief words! In order to know what religion is, and what Islam is, which God has approved for us as our religion on this day, we should look at the verses that talked about religion and Islam, from the first verse to the last verse.

We must know that Islam is about which God Almighty said: “Indeed, the religion with God is Islam... and whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers.” (Surat Al-Imran: 85). It is Islam, the implementation aspect of which became a pillar in its construction, from the day Abraham (peace be upon him) renewed the construction of the House and called on his Lord as He commanded him, that the Prophet of the Muslim nation would be the last of the nations, and their Imams, from his descendants: “And when He raised Abraham, the founder of the House, and Ishmael. Our Lord, accept it from us. Indeed, You are the Hearer, the Knower. (Surat Al-Baqarah: 127)

After Abraham completed building the true direction of prayer for the world, he asked his Lord for what he had promised him. He said, “My God, I am the builder of your house, and this is my son who is working with me in building your house. So grant the reward for our builders what you promised us: “Our Lord, and make us submissive to you, and from our descendants a nation submissive to you, and see Show us our rites and accept our repentance Indeed, You are the Most Merciful. (Surat Al-Baqarah: 128).

This is the Islam whose qibla and foundation was established by Abraham (peace be upon him), then God sent it, the Master of Messengers, from the descendants of Abraham, may God bless him and his family, and he built its foundation and built his nation, with blessed and holy efforts and efforts for twenty-three years, and the construction worker was with him instead of Ismail: Ali bin Ubayy. Talib (peace be upon him)!

This Islam, which God Almighty revealed, remained incomplete until the end of the life of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and in particular until the eighteenth day of Dhul-Hijjah, then God announced its completion!! Oh God, what is the fate of that day, the perfection of which Islam continued to lack until it found it?! Here is not the place for people like me to speak, but rather the place for seeking forgiveness from words! What matter was said to humans on this day that they did not understand, and to this day?!

What day were you, O Day of Ghadir, until the divine speech regarding you came to the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, with this unusual decisiveness in his speech to him: “O Messenger, deliver what has been sent down to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed his message, by God He will protect you from people. Indeed, God He does not guide the disbelieving people. (Surat Al-Ma’idah: 67).

We know that God Almighty’s speech to His Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, is the most tender and compassionate speech: “We have not sent down to you the Qur’an so that you may be miserable.” (Surat Taha: 2) “And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds” (Surat Al-Anbiya: 107), “Rather, we see him swearing by the life of his beloved Prophet: By your life, they are indeed in their drunkenness, blinded.” (Surat Al-Hijr: 72), but on this day he addressed him with special decisiveness and said: Convey what has been sent down to you from your Lord, and if you do not do so, then you have not conveyed his message!

He tells him that this day is central to conveying the message, and the work that you will do will complete the religion, and without it it will remain incomplete and the benefit of your efforts in conveying it will be lost!! Yes, the mercy that was revealed on the Day of Ghadir is too great for any human being to comprehend! The reason is that God Almighty created this world because He wanted it to exist and deposited in it two rare essences: the mind and the soul, and these two essences must reach the stage of fruition.

The project of sending the prophets, peace be upon them, was in order to bring the essence of the mind to the degree of theoretical perfection, and the essence of the will to the degree of practical perfection, and their mission was a prelude to achieving its goal, and it culminated in the mission of our Prophet, may God bless him and his family: “God has indeed favored the believers when He sent among them a messenger from They themselves recite His verses to them, and purify them, and teach them the Book and the wisdom, although before they had been in clear error. (Surat Al Imran: 164) The Almighty’s saying: “God has indeed graciously provided” is a symbol of His saying: “And I have completed My blessing upon you.” The mission of the Seal of the Prophets, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, is not accomplished by teaching the Book and wisdom alone, but rather on the Day of Ghadir!

This is because teaching the Book is the scientific aspect and building human awareness, and teaching wisdom is the practical aspect and building human will, and completing these two aspects requires a divine interpreter and a divine sage, who will continue the task after the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family. A divine interpreter, who can interpret the Divine Book in which His Revelation, the Almighty, said: ﴿Al-R. A Book which We have sent down to you so that you may bring people out of darkness into light, by the permission of their Lord, to the path of the Mighty, the Praiseworthy. (Surat Ibrahim: 1), and he said in it: “And on the day when We will raise up into every nation a witness against them from among themselves, and We will bring you as a witness against these, and We will send down to you the Book of clarification.” For everything, and guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims. (Surat An-Nahl: 89)

He said about those who understand and interpret it: “None shall touch it except the purified.” (Surat Al-Waqi’ah: 79). The Divine Book has been revealed, but without a divine interpreter after the Prophet, it remains incomplete, because its divinely qualified interpreter is the only one who can extract from the treasures of divine knowledge in it everything that the human mind needs.

The Holy Qur’an was and still is the great treasures of God, which scholars see but cannot describe, and whose treasures they hover around but cannot extract! He was and still is a virgin in their minds, feared in their chests! Although He is rich in His giving to them, all their proceeds are from His lower treasures, while His higher treasures are higher than their level, and are only touched by the purified, who possess the highest means that enable them to extract what humans need from the Holy Qur’an! Can any of the scholars in our era or other than our era claim that he can extract the treasures of the Qur’an?! Let the scholars of Al-Azhar, and all the scholars of the Islamic cities from the Sunni and Shiite sects, please ask. Can any of them open his mouth with knowledge and tell us the meaning of: Alif. Lam? Mim.? Can any of them tell us the meaning hidden in: H. M. A. s. Q.?! Is there anyone among them who can tell us about the Q symbol, and the secret of: A. L. R. ?!

This great book was and still is in need of a divine teacher to teach it to the nation and humanity, and the teacher of this book after the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, is the only one who says: Ask me before you lose me, ask me about what is below the throne! Humanity has not yet seen the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, say: Ask me, and he did not specify a limit to what he asked about on earth or in heaven! Only this person can interpret the Book of God, which contains an explanation of everything!

Today I have perfected your religion for you.. Because if we contented ourselves with revealing the Book to you, and did not give an interpreter for it after Our Messenger, then we have made the Book locked treasures! And there are those who extract from it what human minds need in every generation. Scientific blessings upon humans cannot be achieved except by an interpreter of the Divine Book.

Likewise, practical grace in building the human will and achieving the justice of the Divine Book cannot be achieved except by those who embody it and teach it to people. We may find someone who claims that he can achieve the divine justice revealed in the Qur’an!

But the reality is that achieving theoretical and practical Qur’anic justice, both individual and social, can only be applied by one who achieves justice with himself until he says: By God, if I were to give the seven regions what is under their spheres on the condition that I disobey God in the case of an ant and rob it of a bunch of barley, I would not have done it. ! Such a will is what can achieve practical Qur’anic wisdom and teach it to humanity.

The only one who has the right to say that he applies Qur’anic justice is the one who owned Chosroe’s country and much of Caesar’s country and its riches and treasures, and yet his food was barley bread and salt, and perhaps he allowed his children to add a little milk to it! He used to say: God has imposed on the imams of justice to equate themselves with the weakness of the people... Or should I be content to be called the Commander of the Faithful and not share with them the hardships of time! Would I not live in a blanket surrounded by earthy bellies and hot livers, and perhaps in Hijaz or Yamamah there are those who have no greed for food and no promise of fullness?!

This is about the food of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him). As for his clothing, he was wearing karabis, which is a type of normal clothing for the common people! His clothing did not differ throughout his life, whether he was poor or rich, and even when the vast treasuries of the Islamic state were under his control, and a portion of the people were living in abundance and wealth, his clothing was the same as that of his servant Qanbar! Rather, he gave Qanbar the finest shirt, the price of which was twice the price of his shirt. He said that he was a young man who should be happy.

Today I have perfected your religion for you... Complete it with this divine scholar who can draw from the treasures of the Qur’an, and with this perfect human being who can apply the justice of the Holy Qur’an. As for the others, they are poor. Where do they get this knowledge and this will? Omar bin Al-Khattab once imagined that Qur’anic justice in dowries would be equal until the Day of Resurrection, so he delivered a sermon on the pulpit, forbidding Muslims from increasing the dowry over the dowry of the wives of the Prophet, may God bless him and his family, and warned those who disagreed with him and threatened punishment. Then an old woman stood up to him and said: Rather, God’s word is more truthful than yours, O Omar. God Almighty said: “And if you want to exchange a husband for another, and you give one of them a talent, do not take any of it And it is slander and manifest sin. (Surat An-Nisa: 20) Omar was amazed at what she said, and said: All people are more knowledgeable than Omar. Which of them must be added to the Qur’an in order to complete the religion? Who says: All people are more jurisprudential than Omar?! Or the one in which Omar says: Ali is the most knowledgeable of the nation! The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, says about him: “I am the city of knowledge and Ali is its gate”?! What we mentioned about the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) is the ABC of his attributes, otherwise he is in a greater and greater position, may God’s prayers be upon him.

Eid al Ghadeer

There are great, unseen matters that only the Absolute Great, the Creator of greatness, can comprehend. The matters of the mind and thought are incapable of their essence, and their essence and reality are only understood by the Greatest of the mind and thought, who is the Creator of the mind and thought. Among these great matters is the matter of the divine Imamate, for the reality of the Imamate is known only to the One who created it, made it, and made it obligatory to adhere to it. He stipulated it in His Noble Book and commanded His Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family - in no event or incident - to convey it and call on Muslims to adhere to it - and he wrote down those sources that indicate it and most of the scholars of Islam, regardless of their different schools of thought, authenticated them - and that is because Islam is not upright without it, so Islam is that religion.

The Great is the Seal of religions and the most perfect of the laws which the Master of the Prophets and Messengers brought, may the blessings and peace of God be upon our Prophet and his God and the most complete of submissions, and which is not accepted from anyone who seeks a religion other than Him and opposes it. This is the religion which the previous prophets of God preached and in which the Chosen One, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, conveyed what he conveyed of the messages of his Lord and the rulings of his religion. He put in such an effort that his affairs would not be right except with it, and Islam and the law of heaven are broken by its absence, so he, may the peace and blessings of God be upon him and his family, was said to him in a grave manner: (And if you do not do so, then you have not conveyed his message..)!! ..What greatness is this imamate and this state?!! A truth that no one can reach except God Almighty, because by not conveying it, the messages of heaven are not conveyed, so the survival of Islam depends on the two weights, and guidance is by adhering to them.

Holidays are days in which Muslims rejoice that God Almighty has enabled them to perform a specific duty in which they thank Him, and the Day of Ghadir is the most sacred of holidays and the most rewarding, joyful, joyful and happy. Because the worship to which he who has been guided is greater. Yes, it is the day on which the ray of the light of the Imamate was established, even if its emergence occurred with the first emergence of Islam. It is the day on which God completed the blessing, perfected the religion, and approved of Islam. Without it, the messages of the Lord would not have been conveyed. Had it not been for God’s blessings upon us, the People of the House.

Peace be upon them, since the blessed Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha have no effect, there is no doubt that he is the greatest in intelligence, and there is no need to narrate him. The hadith of Ghadir has not been narrated in Islam like it. At its end is the hadith of congratulations, which indicates that it is a day of joy and feast. The scholar Al-Amini said in his Ghadir: “Especially the hadith of congratulating the two sheikhs was narrated by the imams of hadith and interpretation.” There is a lot of history from the men of the Sunnah, and their number is not insignificant between the narrator who sent him the message of the Muslim, and the narrator of it with the Musnads of Sihah with trustworthy men, ending with more than one of the Companions, such as Ibn Abbas, Abu Hurairah, Al-Baraa bin Azib, and Zaid bin Arqam...” And the scholar Al-Amini mentioned more than sixty.

Among them... Imam Al-Tabari Muhammad bin Jarir included in the book (Al-Wilaya) a hadith about the Day of Ghadir with his chain of transmission on the authority of Zaid Ibn Arqam.. At the end he said: The people’s company? Say: We have given you a covenant on behalf of ourselves, a covenant with our tongues, and a deal with our hands that we will deliver to our children and families. We do not want any compensation for that, and you are a witness over us, and God is sufficient as a witness. Say what I told you, and greet Ali with the command of the believers, and say: Praise be to God who has guided us to this, and we would not have been guided had it not been for him. If God has guided us, God knows every voice and the betrayal of every soul.

So whoever breaks it is breaking himself, and whoever fulfills what God has promised, He will give him a great reward. Say what pleases God about you, but if you disbelieve, then God is free from you. Zaid bin Arqam said: Then the people hastened to say something. Yes, we heard and obeyed the command of God and His Messenger with our hearts. The first to join hands with the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, his family, and Ali: Abu Bakr, Omar, Uthman, Talha, Al-Zubayr, and the rest of the Muhajireen, the Ansar, and the rest of the people until he prayed the two noon prayers at the same time, and that extended until the two evening prayers were performed at the same time and they arrived. The pledge of allegiance and handshake is two-thirds.

Calling the Day of Ghadir Eid was shared by Muslims:

The scholar Al-Amini says in his Ghadeer, “...This holiday is not only related to the Shiites, even though they have a special relationship with it, but other Muslim sects joined them in celebrating it. Al-Biruni counted it in Al-Athār Al-Baqiyyah in the past centuries, p. 334, among the holidays that the people of Islam have used.” And in Matalib al-Sa’ul by Ibn Talha al-Shafi’i, p. 53: The day of Ghadir Khumm was mentioned by (the Commander of the Faithful) in his poetry, and that day became a holiday and a season because it was a time that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, assigned this exalted status, and honored him with it above all people, and the books of history read us lessons from this. Eid, and the Islamic nation’s peace over it in the East and West, and the care of the Egyptians, Moroccans and Iraqis regarding it in the past centuries, and for it being a day celebrated for prayer, supplication, sermons, and singing of poetry, as detailed in the dictionaries. It appears, without any source, from the deaths of Ibn Khallikan, the peace over calling this day a holiday, in the translation of Al-Musta’li. Ibn al-Mustansir, vol. 1, p. 60: So the pledge of allegiance was given on the day of the Eid of Ghadir Khumm, which was the eighteenth of Dhul-Hijjah in the year 487...”

The first to take Al-Ghadir as the feast of the Chosen One, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family:

The first one to take Ghadir as a holiday in Islam was the purified Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family.. It was narrated on the authority of Furat bin Ibrahim al-Kufi in the third century, on the authority of Muhammad bin Dhahir, on the authority of Abdullah bin al-Fadl al-Hashemi, on the authority of Imam al-Sadiq, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his fathers, who said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, said: The day of Ghadir Khumm is the best holiday of my nation. It is the day on which God Almighty commanded me to appoint my brother Ali bin Abi Talib as a leader for my nation to be guided by him after me. It is the day on which God completed the religion, completed His blessing upon my nation, and approved for them Islam as their religion.

His saying, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, is expressed in a hadith narrated by Al-Hafiz Abu Sa’id Al-Kharkushi Al-Naysaburi, who died in 407 AD. He narrated it in his book (Sharaf Al-Mustafa) with his chain of transmission on the authority of Al-Bara’ bin Azib, with the wording of Ahmad Bin Hanbal, and with another chain of transmission on the authority of Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri, with his wording: Then the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said ( (And his family) and peace be upon them. They congratulated me. They congratulated me. God Almighty singled me out for prophethood and singled out my family for imamate. Then he met Omar bin Al-Khattab, the Commander of the Faithful, and said: Blessed are you, O Abu Al-Hassan. You have become my master and the master of every believing man and woman.

The People of the House (peace be upon them) venerate the Day of Ghadir:

Then the imams of the Prophet’s family, peace be upon them, followed in the footsteps of the chosen Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and they paid great attention to him, and this is indicated by the extensive hadiths mentioned about them in which the scholar Al-Amini says, “And the imams of the pure family, may God’s prayers be upon them, recognized it, so they called it a holiday and they ordered that to the general Muslims and spread the virtue of the day and the reward from them.” “Do righteous deeds in it.”

The narrations, as we said, are many, but we cite a few... in Al-Kafi by Thiqaat Al-Islam Al-Kulayni (vol. 1, p. 303) on the authority of Ali bin Ibrahim, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Al-Qasim bin Yahya, on the authority of his grandfather, Al-Hassan bin Rashid, on the authority of Abu Abdullah, peace be upon him, who said: I said: May I be made your ransom for the Muslims, a holiday other than The two Eids? He said: Yes, Hassan? The greatest and most honorable of the two. I said: What day is it? He said: On the day the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, was installed as a landmark for the people, I said: May I be made your ransom and what should we do about it? He said: Do you fast, Hassan? Prayers should be multiplied for Muhammad and his family, and disavow before God those who wronged them, for the prophets, may God’s prayers be upon them, used to order the guardians on the day in which the guardian was appointed to take it as a holiday. He said: I said: What is the matter for those who fast it? He said fasting for sixty months.

It also contains, vol. 1, p. 204, on the authority of Sahl bin Ziyad, on the authority of Abdul Rahman bin Salem, on the authority of his father, who said: I asked Abu Abdullah, peace be upon him, do Muslims have a holiday other than Friday, Al-Adha, and Al-Fitr? He said: Yes, the most sacred of them. I said: Which Eid is may I be made your ransom? He said: The day on which the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, was appointed Commander of the Faithful and said: Whoever I am his master, then Ali is his master. I said: What day is it? He said: What do you do with the day? The year goes by, but it is the eighteenth of Dhul-Hijjah.

So I said: What should we do on that day? He said: You remember God Almighty in His remembrance by fasting, worship, and remembrance of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, for the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, advised the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, to take that day as a holiday, and this is what the prophets used to do. They used to instruct their guardians to do that, so they took it as a holiday.

And in (Al-Misbah) by Sheikh Al-Taifah Al-Tusi, p. 513, on the authority of Dawud Al-Raqqi, on the authority of Abu Harun Ammar bin Hariz Al-Abdi, he said: I entered upon Abu Abdullah, peace be upon him, on the eighteenth day of Dhul-Hijjah and found him fasting, and he said to me: This is a great day, may God make it sacred to the believers. He completed the religion for them, completed the blessing upon them, and renewed for them the covenant and covenant that he had taken from them. Then he was asked: What is the reward for fasting on this day? He said: It is a day of celebration, joy and happiness, and a day of fasting in thanks to God, and its fasting is equivalent to sixty months of the Sacred Mosque.

On the authority of Abu Al-Hasan Al-Laithi, on the authority of Abu Abdullah, peace be upon him, that he said to those of his loyalists and Shiites who attended him: Do you know a day on which God established Islam, revealed the light of religion, and made it a holiday for us and for our loyalists and Shiites? They said: God, His Messenger, and the son of His Messenger know best. What day is it? Oh our master? He said: No. They said: Is it Eid al-Adha? He said: No, these are two venerable and honorable days, and the day of Manar al-Din is more honorable than them. It is the eighteenth day of Dhul-Hijjah, and when the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, finished the Farewell Pilgrimage and arrived at Ghadir Khumm. the talk .

Shiite interest in it:

The interest of the Shiites in it is apparent, as their hadith sources are full of texts urging it, and we have mentioned some of them, and their religious books are filled with the virtue and greatness of this day. In Mafatih al-Jinan by Sheikh al-Qummi, may God have mercy on him: “The day of Eid al-Ghadir, which is the greatest feast of God and the feast of the family of Muhammad (peace be upon them), and it is the greatest of the feasts that God has sent.” God Almighty is a prophet except that.

He repeats this day and preserves its sanctity, and the name of this day in heaven is the Day of the Accustomed Covenant, and its name on earth is the Day of the Covenant taken and the witnessed gathering... And in the hadith of Abu Nasr Al-Bazanti on the authority of Al-Ridha, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: O Ibn Abi Nasr, wherever I was going to attend the Day of Ghadir with the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), for God, Blessed and Most High, will forgive every believer, male and female, male and female, for the sins of sixty years, and he will be freed from Hell twice as much as he was freed in the month of Ramadan, the Night of Destiny, and the Night of Fitr, and a dirham in it is worth a thousand dirhams for your knowledgeable brothers, and it is better than your brothers in Every believing man, male and female, was pleased with this day.

By God, if people knew the virtue of this day in reality, the angels would shake hands with them ten times every day. In conclusion, glorifying this honorable day is necessary... until he said: And the conclusion is that the virtue of this honorable day is too great to mention. It is the day on which the deeds of the Shiites were accepted, and the day on which their griefs were revealed, and it is the day on which Moses defeated the magicians, and on which God Almighty made fire coolness and peace for Ibrahim Al-Khalil, on which Moses (peace be upon him) appointed his guardian Joshua bin Nun, and on which Jesus (peace be upon him) made Simeon. As-Safa was his successor, and Solomon (peace be upon him) testified his people to the succession of Asif bin Barkhiya, and the Messenger of God (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) made brotherhood among his companions...”

Their interest and glorification is beneficial to them and others, as it is a reason for preserving this incident and a reason for generations to wonder: Why this joy and adornment?? Let the world be aware of this momentous event, which if the seeker of the truth wanted to reach, he would not need much contemplation on this blessed event.
